Draft: owner confirmation required
Prices and renewal rules have been checked against the existing Stripe checkout. The legal supplier, cancellation arrangements and other business details listed below still need confirmation.
These terms describe the current KebabSafe service for business users. Read them together with the Privacy policy. For billing, cancellation or service questions, use the Contact page.
1. What KebabSafe does
KebabSafe helps UK food businesses keep hygiene and health and safety records, including temperature checks, cleaning, deliveries, allergens, equipment, incidents and training. It is a record-keeping tool, not legal advice, a food safety certification or a guarantee of an EHO inspection result.
You remain responsible for safe working practices, accurate records, reviewing reports and following applicable law and your local authority’s requirements. Automated temperature flags and generated report text can be wrong or incomplete; check them before relying on them.
2. Your business and account
Use accurate account and business details, keep credentials private and only enter information you are entitled to use. Do not use the service unlawfully, upload harmful material or attempt to access another account’s information.
Membership is offered for one shop/location and up to four staff accounts. Each account’s saved records are restricted to their creator and app administrators. Shared access between separate staff accounts is not currently implemented or guaranteed; inviting someone does not automatically give them access to your records.
3. The seven-day free trial
Eligible new account holders receive seven days of free access when they first open the member area. No card details are required and the trial does not automatically turn into a paid membership. Choose a paid plan separately if you want to continue.
If you pay during your trial, unused trial days, up to seven, are added once as bonus app access. This bonus does not postpone the initial charge or the monthly Stripe billing date. Your account shows the access end date.
4. Prices, billing and access
Monthly membership costs £9.99 in GBP. Billing starts immediately when you purchase it and Stripe renews the charge every month until the subscription is cancelled. The checkout does not include a separate Stripe free trial.
The 12-month membership costs £49.99 in GBP, paid once for 12 months of access, plus any applicable unused-trial bonus. It does not renew automatically. A further term requires another purchase.
Payments take place on Stripe’s checkout. Use the same email address as your KebabSafe account so payment can be matched. App access is granted only after server-side verification, normally checked every five minutes. If access has not appeared after ten minutes, contact KebabSafe rather than paying again.
These are the currently displayed checkout prices. Whether the supplier is VAT-registered and the appropriate VAT treatment still require owner confirmation. No future price change is stated here as applying retrospectively to an already-paid fixed term.
5. Cancellation and refunds
There is currently no in-app button or customer billing portal that cancels a Stripe subscription. Request monthly cancellation through the Contact page and include your shop name and account email. The operator must process the cancellation in Stripe; signing out, not using the app or requesting account deletion does not cancel recurring billing.
Obtain confirmation that Stripe cancellation has been completed before assuming future renewals have stopped. Your account’s access end date shows the paid access currently recorded. The operator must confirm the cancellation handling time and whether cancellations are always set for the end of the paid period.
Annual membership has no automatic renewal to cancel. To ask about ending access early, an incorrect charge or a refund, contact KebabSafe. No blanket no-refund rule or unconfirmed refund guarantee is imposed here. Any rights that apply under law remain unaffected; the operator’s discretionary refund policy still needs confirmation.
6. Records, exports and privacy
Check that each entry has saved and review corrections after editing. Keep independent copies of important records and exported reports. Export records while your membership provides access; continued access or indefinite retention after expiry is not guaranteed.
The Privacy policy describes data processing and the items still being confirmed, including retention and deletion procedures. Account deletion requests require manual handling; no completion deadline is promised.
Photos and certificate attachments are temporarily unavailable. New uploads and attachment downloads are disabled. Existing files and references have not been deleted. Older public file links may remain accessible outside the app; disabling attachments does not revoke those links.
7. Service limitations and changes
An internet connection and a supported device/browser are needed to save and retrieve records. Availability depends on hosting, payment and email providers. There is no verified offline-saving guarantee, continuous-availability guarantee or guaranteed support response time.
Email sender verification and receipt delivery are not yet confirmed. Do not treat receiving an email as the only evidence of membership; use the membership status in your account. Real-device and separate-business access tests still need completion.
Features may be limited in native app builds, including payment and export behaviour. Attachments remain disabled until their access safeguards are ready. Changes to these terms will be dated; no exclusion of liability for fraud, legally protected rights or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded is intended.
8. Business details still requiring confirmation
The published footer identifies Lincoln Tradeworx Ltd, company number 16957370, as the developer. Companies House lists its registered office as 81 Boultham Park Road, Lincoln, United Kingdom, LN6 7SE. A developer listing is not, by itself, confirmation that this is the contracting supplier or data controller.
The owner must confirm the legal supplier/trading name, correspondence address, operational cancellation contact, VAT status, cancellation handling times, discretionary refund policy and applicable legal jurisdiction. Confirm whether Lincoln Tradeworx Ltd is the supplier before treating its registered office as the service address.
This page is a plain-English draft based on the current implementation, with unresolved arrangements labelled rather than invented. It needs the owner’s confirmation and appropriate legal review before being relied on as final contractual terms.
